We are already gone and assembeld in heaven Category: Religion and Philosophy
Praise the Lord, Im trying to encourage some one out there feeling weak and hopeless. Be of good cheer and know there is hope.I could tell you Jesus wont put anymore on you than you can handle. But you already know that, or I could tell you that when it gets tough the way maker will give you a way out.But you already know that. If your waiting to go through the great tribulations and, wondering how you will survive. You wont have to. Let me show you some thing in Revelations you will notice that while all the great tribulations are being pured out on earth we are already in heaven. Keep in mind John saw a door open only once before he saw the church praiseing Jesus. The door opened chapter 4:1 he also heard a trumpet saying come up hither, then slowly the 3.5 yrs of tribulations start and he carefully documents everything that happens, and never mentions another trumpet call or another door open. STILL CHAPTER 7 SAYS
(Rev 7:9) After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
(Rev 7:10) And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
(Rev 7:11) And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
(Rev 7:12) Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
(Rev 7:13) And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
(Rev 7:14) And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
(Rev 7:15) Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
(Rev 7:16) They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
(Rev 7:17) For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
Think about it would the Lamb of God suffer so much to heal us save us empower us only to make us go through the tribulations? No, John continually says that those going through all this still wont repent. Ive already repented, havent you? We will be one of those with blood washed robes singing to Jesus. He didnt say these are they that went through the great tribulations, he said they came out of. When the Holy Ghost leaves we are leaving. He did say he would never leave us or forsake us.
(2Th 2:7) For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
The he that was mentioned above is the Holy GHOST.He leaves then evil takes over, we are leaving to. Be of good cheer,

What is your faith built on ? HOW ARE YOU WHEN THINGS REALLY GET TOUGH?
(Heb 12:26) Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
(Heb 12:27) And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Are you building up your most holy faith on the rock ? The time to think about doing it is over. People talk about a great revival coming. My bible speaks of a great falling away, and perilous times. When things really get shakey and they will, you wil need some power in Jesus to stand. Faith begets faith, try your faith and see what I mean. Lay hands on the sick folk and call on Jesus name and see them healed, then dont stop go on to something greater! Rebuke the devil out of your house in Jesus name, then watch a peace that passes all understanding move in. Dont stop go on to greater things. We have to keep our faith working on the front burner of our lives , so we will be ready for anything.Keep your faith alive. Faith that doesnt work is dead. When you get close to death, whether it be an accident or a sicness, or just a close call how will your faith be. Some say I hope Im prayed up when that happens. My point is we had better stay prayed up.No man knows the day or the hour, or if there will even be a tomorrow. Are you ready ? Stir up your faith and make sure. Dont wait and just think about it, you may not have what you think you have.
(Mat 7:21) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
(Mat 7:22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
(Mat 7:23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
(Mat 7:24) Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
(Mat 7:25) And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
(Mat 7:26) And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
(Mat 7:27) And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
OUCH ! I want to hear him say enter in, not depart from me.Get ready and stay ready. We need our senses exercised through use just like our faith, put it to use.
God bless us all,
Pastor Rick

Your eternal life depends on it. This is scripture not somthing I made up.
Rom 8:9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
(Rom 8:10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
(Rom 8:11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
I HOPE YOU KNOW SO !
(Act 10:44) While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
(Act 10:45) And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
(Act 10:46) For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

(Pro 1:20) Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
(Pro 1:21) She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
(Pro 1:22) How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
(Pro 1:23) Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
(Pro 1:24) Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
(Pro 1:25) But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
(Pro 1:26) I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
Seek wisdom, not pleasure and understanding and not greed.

To accept Him or receive him what does the bible say ? Category: Religion and Philosophy
There is a difference, and we like Paul need to be sure.
(Act 19:2) He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
(Act 19:3) And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
(Act 19:4) Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
(Act 19:5) When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
(Act 19:6) And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
I cant find any place in the bible that says accepting JESUS is enough. IF IT WERE WHY WERE THESE EVENTS RECORDED? (Act 10:44) While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
(Act 10:45) And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
(Act 10:46) For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
(Act 10:47) Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
(Act 10:48) And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
in the bible everywhere somone got saved a few things happened, they received the Holy Ghost evidently because they spoke in tounges and they were baptized under water in Jesus name. When did this change?
(Act 2:4) And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

After a visitation---- Did you forget? Category: Religion and Philosophy
Where do you go after a visit from the Lord? You know after youve prayed so deep you hear Jesus speaking to you? Somtimes people begin making promises while in Gods presence, like I will go any where or do anything. Then after the visitation they forget the promises they made. So then what happens when , they "go their own way".Somtimes absolutely nothing. Thats not always a good thing, check this out.
After a visit from Jesus:
(Joh 21:3) Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
Peter decided to go back to work, and other disciples went with him.And they caught nothing. Jesus didnt call them to fish for fish and I think they forgot. And then they got a reminder that just because they couldnt see Jesus ,he was right there in the middle of there business.
(Joh 21:4) But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
(Joh 21:5) Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
(Joh 21:6) And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
My point is, if nothing else we are all called to be fishers of men. If we forget our promises we made to Jesus and go our own way, nothing may happen. That could be really bad. Just because we cant see or feel Gods Spirit all the time, dont forget he is, right in the middle of your business. He decides if you prosper a little or alot.
I would love to need an extra boat and the help of all my friends to bring all that God has blessed me with to shore. Thing is Jesus wants that too!
(Joh 21:8) And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.
(Joh 21:9) As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.
(Joh 21:10) Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.
(Joh 21:11) Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
(Joh 21:12) Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
JESUS SAID COME AND DINE ! wow! Thats what Im talking about. lets all try to get back to business.
(Eph 3:17) That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
(Eph 3:18) May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
(Eph 3:19) And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
(Eph 3:20) Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
(Eph 3:21) Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Amen,
Pastor Rick

Confidence Category: Religion and Philosophy
Are you confident God will answer your prayers ? Do you know why some are answered and some arent ? These scriptures may give you some answers to your questions. The word is alive and speaks to those who will listen. Can you hear HIM now ?
(1Jn 3:16) Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
(1Jn 3:17) But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
(1Jn 3:18) My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
(1Jn 3:19) And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
(1Jn 3:20) For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
(1Jn 3:21) Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
(1Jn 3:22) And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
(1Jn 3:23) And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
(1Jn 3:24) And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

(Jas 3:5) Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
(Jas 3:6) And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
(Jas 3:7) For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
(Jas 3:8) But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
(Jas 3:9) Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
(Jas 3:10) Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
(Jas 3:11) Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
(Jas 3:12) Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. November 02 Category: Religion and Philosophy
Do you really know Jesus?
(Joh 14:7) If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
(Joh 14:8) Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
(Joh 14:9) Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
He is more than a son and saviour.
(Isa 9:6) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
JESUS SAID IT THIS WAY;
(Joh 10:30) I and my Father are one.
Im not giving you doctrine, only scriptures.
(Col 1:14) In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
(Col 1:15) Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
(Col 1:16) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
The name;
(Luk 24:45) Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
(Luk 24:46) And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
(Luk 24:47) And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
No one in the bible was ever baptized in the titles Father,Son or Holy Spirit.
The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, Vol. 4, page 2637, Under "Baptism," says:
"Matthew 28:19 in particular only canonizes a later ecclesiastical situation, that its universalism is contrary to the facts of early Christian history, and its Trinitarian formula (is) foreign to the mouth of Jesus."
Everyone baptized in the bible according to scriptures was baptized according to acts 2:38 at least all baptized after Jesus ascension. If we are the bride we must take the name of the groom.
(Act 2:38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
And we must me made part of the body of Christ. This is done through baptism of the Holy Ghost.
(Eph 5:30) For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
(Eph 5:31) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
(Eph 5:32) This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
How did they know they had the Holy Ghost, the same way every time.
(Act 10:45) And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
(Act 10:46) For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Have you?
Do you know him?
(Rom 8:14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
(Rom 8:15) For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

(1Co 13:2) And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
(1Co 13:3) And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

(Rom 8:16) The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

September 23 Praise the Lord, Have you ever really given much thought to the direction your spiritual life is heading. Are you doing what your doing because so many others are doing the same thing.Surely everybody cant be wrong, "right".Keep tis scripture in mind.
(Mat 7:13) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
(Mat 7:14) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
You have read that the spirit of the antichrist is already at work. With scoffers and mockers and false prophets. But what about ease, or comfort or even luxury.A few little things that keep us distracted. Its real easy to follow the crowd, but what if they are heading to hell. OUCH !
(Joe 3:14) Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
What if that big group your following is following somebody that never made the tough choices he had to make so he never got his life in order. And now he is telling others how to live. Ignorance will be no excuse. We all have personal responsibility, to search the scriptures for ourselves. Our relationship with Jesus is personal, its not group therapy. So you cant blame the group.Sure the misguiding ministers will pay more but that wont help the misguided congregation.Dont be a luke warm christian your eternal life is too important.
(Rev 3:15) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
(Rev 3:16) So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
(Rev 3:17) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
TRY THIS:
(Rev 3:17) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
(Rev 3:18) I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
(Rev 3:19) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
(Rev 3:20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
(Rev 3:21) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
(Rev 3:22) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
I want to sit with Jesus in His throne , dont you? Jesus gives us power to overcome when hHe fills us with the Holy Ghost. He overcame the world, hell ,satan and all evil. Then he brought his badly beaten and crucified body back to life and claimed Victory.
(Act 1:8) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
(Act 1:9) And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
(Act 1:10) And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
(Act 1:11) Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Receive the power and get busy mking sure your on the right path. Ever wondered why John the baptist went everywhere preaching repentance? Mabey we really need to repent. Some people when they get the mind to try doing something really good to please the Lord and assure their place in heaven.Like building schools or opening missions... thats all good but until you repent and get on the narrow path your still heading the wrong way. Paul feared, he didnt want to be a castaway after preaching and suffering so much.He said I die daily, meaning he kept his flesh under subjection. Ok I will close with this verse.
(1Pe 4:18) And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
Check your compass , make sure your direction is right.
God bless all, Pastor Rick September 22 Some thing to reach for.
(1Pe 1:2) Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
(1Pe 1:3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
(1Pe 1:4) To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
(1Pe 1:5) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
(1Pe 1:6) Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
(1Pe 1:7) That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
(1Pe 1:8) Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
(1Pe 1:9) Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

RE RUNS Category: Religion and Philosophy
Question: Are you listening to the word, or, reading re-runs. Ive been preaching for over 20 yrs,and one thing Ive noticed is alot of church folks tend to say yep Ive read that a thousand times. Then they politely close their bibles and pretend to "listen" but all they hear is a re-run,because they close their spiritual ears too. Thats sad. The word is alive.
(Joh 1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
(Joh 1:2) The same was in the beginning with God.
(Joh 1:3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
(Joh 1:4) In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
(Joh 1:5) And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
(Joh 1:14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Have you ever read a scripture for the umpteenth time and heard it say something brand new to you? I love it. Jesus is alive and through His same old stories He speaks to every brand new situation we face. If we have ears to hear.
Ever walked into your kitchen or bathroom in the middle of the night and turned the light on. WOW! THATS BRIGHT ,your awake now.
(1Jn 1:5) This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
JUST LIKE STEPPING INTO GODS PRESENCE,ALL THINGS WILL BE BROUGHT TO LIGHT. Id rather get into His word and get it right now than SUPRISE!! and try to explain it away later. | September 11
Cracked Category: Religion and Philosophy
Praise the Lord, Ive been in some real nice houses in my time. Im sure we all have.Ive seen them poured on concrete slabs and over big nice bacements. And in various times on all kinds of buildings "REAL" nice or not,Ive seen cracked foundations. Now What? Pay for a patch job, or hope for the best? Or try to sell and move before it gets worse. Trust me if you try to sell the buyers inspector will find the crack.Somethings are just obvious-amen! My point is this, Spiritually how is your foundation.Just cause you may have started out with sound footing, doesnt mean you dont need a check-up , or some repairs made. The only way to get it right is return to your first love, the Master Builder, or should I say The Chief Cornerstone. I have even seen homes built on wood foundations, but thats a whole different story. When a mason lays brick he usually starts on his knees. Good starting over place too.
God Bless,
Pastor Rick September 09
(Joh 4:13) Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
(Joh 4:14) But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
(Joh 4:15) The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. September 08
PRAISE THE LORD!
Have you ever noticed that "some" people think the more successful they are the more saved they are. Or they act like there more important to God or the church. Think about this: If God created everything he sure doesnt need anything. And do we really think our worldly success impresses God? Who does God really work best with?
(Jas 2:5) Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
(1Co 1:25) Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
(1Co 1:26) For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
(1Co 1:27) But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
(1Co 1:28) And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
(1Co 1:29) That no flesh should glory in his presence.
(Isa 57:15) For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
Im not saying you have to be dirt poor to serve the Lord. Just dont let anybody think that God has more respect for the rich than the poor.
(Rom 2:11) For there is no respect of persons with God.
Lets all be rich in faith a-men September 03

YOU HAVE MORE THAN YOU KNOW !! Category: Religion and Philosophy
Ever feel like your at the end of your rope? or your all used up? or you dont know what to do next? or .....
Your not alone, nope I mean Jesus is there with you, in power and in all the control "you give him."
(2Co 12:9) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
(2Co 12:10) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
(2Co 12:11) I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.
CHEER UP, your not in this by yourself !
(Joh 16:33) These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Driving Force Category: Religion and Philosophy
Who or what is the major driving force in your life? How do you feel about that leadership? Is it you, your children or spouse? Could it be your boss, or drugs alcohol or another vice?
(Rom 8:1) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
(Rom 8:2) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
(Rom 8:3) For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
(Rom 8:4) That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
(Rom 8:5) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
(Rom 8:6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
If Gods Spirit is your driving force, you will feel no condemnation. You will receive life, and peace. August 12

(Rom 8:37) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Rom 8:38) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, (Rom 8:39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
IF I dont have a clear signal on my C.B. in my truck I may not be able to get help if I need it.Or may not be able to find out about trouble ahead, or storms coming.......
If I dont have a working prayer life and relationship with Jesus,Ive basically lost my signal. Then because of my own actions I have seperated myself from my Savior and wont see trouble coming. The verses above says that if we are in Christ Jesus we are more than conquerors and have victory. But dont kid yourself your own actions can seperate you from victory.
Check your signal, b 4 you run into trouble and wish you had.
There are too many variables to take anything for granted.
God bless,
Pastor Rick | August 08 Praise the Lord,
How long has it been since there has been a refreshing rain of loving water in your life? Are you drying up spiritually or are the waters flowing from within you? There was a time when it hadnt rained for 3 and a half years. It was simply that people had forgotten God and given themselves over to idols and false prophets.
God sent Elijah to speak with king Ahab to set things straight.Elijah asked a simple question. ASK YOURSELF THE SAME QUESTION.
(1Ki 18:21) And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
How long halt ye between two opinions. Is Jesus the king of your life or is somthing else?
God doesnt mind proving his power to us.When all the false prophets got together about 900 of them. They stood on one side and Elijah stood alone on the other. They had a contest and offered up a bullock as a sacrafice to there god,Baal, and Elijah was to offer one to GOD. The God that consumed the sacrafice by fire would be declared God.
The false prophets cried out for hours to baal, they cut thereselves and bled and cried but no answer.
Elijah had 12 barrels of water poured on his sacrafice altar and fire wood. Everything was soaked! He prayed a simple prayer, not long winded it wasnt about his prayer it was about his faith in God. Fire came down from heaven!!!!!!!! consumed tha sacrafice, the wood and all the water. The people fell on there knees and proclaimed the God of Elijah HE IS GOD !
Elijah killed all the false prophets and went up to pray on the mountain top.He ended up seeing a cloud about the size of a mans hand after praying for a long time. He said tell king Ahab to get off the mountain cause its gonna rain. He gave a storm warning! and it rained and the land and people were refreshed. These people had been eating there kids, manure and all kinds of yuck cause it was so bad. DONT WAIT FOR DESTITUTION let God prove his power in your life. He can and will.
(Joh 7:38) He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
(Joh 7:39) (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
God bless all, Pastor Rick
